About Us
We are a Village Cricket Club based in the rural village of Kirk Deighton in North Yorkshire.
The village is the neighbor of the market town of Wetherby, which is situated in the Golden Triangle of Yorkshire, between the town of Harrogate and city's of Leeds and York.
The club is situated in the heart of the village on Mark Lane.
The Club plays its cricket in the Nidderdale and District Amateur cricket league, which spans across the Nidderdale area, in North Yorkshire
For the 2026 season, we will host 2 senior teams and 3 junior teams in the league.

How to find us
Ground Address: Mark Lane, Kirk Deighton, LS22 4EF
The ground is located in the heart of the village on Mark Lane.
From the North
From the A1 (M), take the slip road at Wetherby services. At the roundabout take the third exit, signposted Wetherby (B1224). At the next roundabout take the third exit and then take the next left into Mark Lane. the Ground is located on the right.
From the Old A1 (A168) follow the road south until you see a signs for Kirk Deighton. Take the exit signed Kirk Deighton and follow the road over the flyover. Turn left into Mark Lane
From Wetherby
Follow Deighton Road out of Wetherby towards Kirk Deighton. At the Deighton Barr fork, take the left exit into Kirk deighton. Once in the village, pass the Bay horse pub on the left and tuen right into Mark Lane.
From Harrogate
Take the A661out of Harrogate towards Spofforth. Take the left turn to North deighon and follow the road to North Deighton. Turn right at the T junction towards Kirk Deighton / Wetherby. Enter the village, once past the Church turn left into Mark lane

Club History
The club was founded in 1886, and was a founding member of the Wetherby Cricket League in 1920.
After claiming various league and cup honours through the years at both First XI and Second XI levels.
The club won its maiden Division One title in 2016 and repeated the feat again in 2017 to claim back to back titles.
In 2018, the club made the decision to leave the Wetherby League and move to the Nidderdale League, with the First XI starting in Division two. Promotion was gained to the top Division in the first season.
